Ross Duncan, is an ultra-endurance cyclist & rides 5-6 times per week achieving outstanding results and world records!

Ross started cycling in 2013 and rode a lot of sportives, both in the U.K. and Northern Ireland. He qualified for the UCI Grand Fondo World Champs, then moved into ultra-endurance (12hr or 200mile+ rides), raced over in the Holland, Isle of Man and U.K.

Ross likes to challenge himself and if something is said to be impossible then he will try to prove otherwise. Some of Ross's challenges include, riding 124km for 124 days raising money for CHAS, whilst still doing a full time job. He holds a couple of records on zwift - he became the first ever to triple and quad veverest on Zwift and set the most elevation in one ride on zwift.  Winning at Revolve24 in the 24hr Solo category in 2019 and was one of the top fundraisers for World Bicycle Relief in 2019.

Ross joined Dunfermline Cycling Club in 2016 as it was his local club when he moved to the area. When not on zwift  he'll ride with DCC at the weekends for the Bun Runs and Tourist Time Trials. His riding can be anything from a 17mile commute to covering 1,300 miles in one ride. When doing his challenge to raise money for CHAS it was about 650 miles per week.

After reading this it may be no surprise that Dunfermline Cycling Club members voted Ross the Club Person of the Year 2019 for his outstanding achievements.

Non Cycling related interesting fact:

Ross used to be into radio control car racing (reaching speeds of 70mph) and also enjoy go-karting.
